Are you a highschool student in need of volunteer hours?
We are looking for a number of Scarborough area students to help us with UTSC Homecoming Saturday, September 28, 2024. This is a large-scale event open to the entire community. It’s a full day of fun activities for people of all ages. Highlights include campus tours, food trucks and other vendors, an entertainment stage and more! The festivities take place on the UTSC Campus – 1265 Military Trail.

Highschool Volunteer Hour Credits – Receive some of your required highschool volunteer hours. Bring your form with you and it will be signed by the volunteer desk manager at the end of your shift.

If the answer to the above is “yes” signup to volunteer at UTSC Homecoming! by either clicking on the link or emailing corey.formica@utoronto.ca and asking her to send you the volunteer signup form. Volunteers are needed for a number of important roles such as activities assistants, registration assistants and way finders (helping people find their way to activities).
The deadline to apply as a volunteer is Sunday, September 15, 2024.
All volunteers are required to attend one online training session to get an overview of the event. Training sessions are scheduled for the following times:
Monday, September 23, 6:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, September 24, 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
